【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsforelectroplatedcoatingsofzincwithsupplementarytreatmentsonironorsteel.Itincludesinformationtobesuppliedbythepurchasertotheelectroplater,andtherequirementsforheattreatmentbeforeandafterelectroplating.Itisnotapplicabletozinccoatingsapplied--tosheet,striporwireinthenon-fabricatedform,--toclose-coiledsprings,or--forpurposesotherthanprotectiveordecorative.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsforthesurfaceconditionofthebasismetalpriortoelectroplatingwithzinc.However,defectsinthesurfaceofthebasismetalcanadverselyaffecttheappearanceandperformanceofthecoating.Thecoatingthicknessthatcanbeappliedtothreadedcomponentscanbelimitedbydimensionalrequirements,includingclassorfit.
