【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportprovidesacodeofdentallaboratoryprocedureswhichisdigitalsoastorenderitlanguage-independent.Thismakesitconvenienttouseasabasicreference(ahub)forexistingorfuturedentalcodes,andensurestheircompatibilitythroughsimplesoftwares,whichisthefundamentalgoaloftheexercise.Inadditionthedigitalcodeisintendedtoprovide,asaresultofbuilt-inindexingfunctions:—theidentificationandtraceabilityofdentalprosthesesandmaterials,epidemiologyandforensicdentistry,investmentplanning,teaching,research,industry,insurancesystems,socialservicesandregulatoryauthorities;—thecreationofperformingdatabasesforthefieldevaluationofmaterials,designandconstructiontechniquesofdentalprostheses,andtheireffects,wantedorunwanted;—thepossibilityofcommunicationbetweenthedentalprofessions,dentalindustryandtrade,onbothqualitativeandquantitativescales.
