【摘要】:Theproceduresoutlinedwillprovidedatathatcanbeusedtoevaluatethestructuralperformance,underconcentratedloads,ofroofandfloorsheathing,separatefromtheeffectsoftheframing,undersimulatedconditionsrepresentativeofthoseinactualservice.Theproceduresareintendedtobeappliedtorooforfloorsheathingmaterialsinstalleddirectlytoframing.Theyarenotintendedfortheevaluationoftheframedassemblyasawhole.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresfordeterminingtheresistancetodeflectionanddamageoffloorandroofsheathingusedinsite-builtconstructionsubjectedtoconcentratedstaticloadsaswellasimpactloadsfromnonrigidbluntobjects.Itisapplicabletowoodandwood-basedpanelsandboards,butisnotintendedtocoverprofiledmetaldecks,norprecastorcast-in-placeslabs.Surfaceindentationisnotevaluatedseparatelyfromdeflection.1.2Threeapplicationsarecovered:roofsheathing,subfloors,andsinglefloors.Roofsheathingistestedinbothadryandawetcondition,whilesubfloorsandsinglefloorsarebothtestedinadrycondition,aswellasaconditionofhavingdriedoutafterbeingwet.Thesemoistureconditionsarethosecommonlyexperiencedwithsite-builtconstruction.Note18212;Whereitisanticipatedthatsheathingwillbesubjectedonlytodryconditionsduringconstructionanduse,orelsetogreatermoistureexposurethanisindicatedin7.3.2,thecorrespondingexposureconditionsmaybemodifiedbyagreementbetweentheinterestedparties.Forexample,shop-builtconstructionmaybetesteddryonly,althoughthepossibilityofexposuretohighhumidityorleaksandfloodingduringuseshouldbeconsidered.1.3Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
