【摘要】:Cokeundergoesvariousdegreesofdegradationduringremovalfromcokeovens,transportation,anditsdecentwithinablastfurnacetothecombustionzone.Theseprocessessubjectthecoketoimpactandabrasion.Thistestmethodisarelativemeasureoftheresistanceofcoketobreakagewhensubjectedtothesedegradationprocesses.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforobtainingarelativemeasureoftheresistancetodegradationofcokebyimpactandabrasion.1.2StandardProcedure8212;Thisprocedureusesacokesamplesizedtox2212;75mm[x2212;3in.]and+50mm[+2in.].1.3AlternativeProcedure8212;Thisprocedureusingcokesized50%of63by50mm[2x00BD;by2in.]and50%of50by37.5mm[2by1x00BD;in.].1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
