【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesaguideforevaluatingaspecificsolvent,chemical,orcompoundthatmaybedetrimentaltoatransparentplasticasaresultofamanufacturingprocess,afabricationoperation,ortheoperationalenvironment.Alltransparentplasticsaresusceptibletocrazing,thoughinwidelyvaryingdegreeandfromavarietyofcauses.Thistestmethodisintendedtoallowestablishmentofthecrazingstresswhenthesimultaneousactionofbothloadandamaterialthatwouldcausecrazingisappliedproducingnon-reversibledamagethatmightlimittheusageofthattransparentplasticinaspecificapplication.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecriticalcrazingstressforatransparentplasticmaterialwhenexposedtoaspecificsolvent,chemical,orcompoundataspecifictemperature.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
